Network settings

5.5.1.1

Overview

Under "Network settings", you change settings for the network and for the network interfaces
X1 and X2.
The following buttons take you to the corresponding settings.
● "PN-X1": Settings for X1 interface (Page 87)
● "PN-X2": Settings for X2 interface (Page 89)
● "General": General settings (Page 91)
The settings under "Network settings" are retained after a restart or update of the operating
system.
If the HMI device is reset to factory settings, all settings will be reset to their default values.

PN-X1

Under "PN-X1" you define the parameters for the X1 interface and both X1P1 and X1P2
connections.
PROFINET
● "Device name": PROFINET name of the HMI device, may not contain any spaces and
must be unique in the local network.
● "Converted name": Display field with the PROFINET name of the HMI device, contains
the entry under "Device name", automatically converted according to PROFINET naming
conventions.
● "MAC address": Display field with the MAC address of X1 interface of the HMI device.
