Software Upgrade Enhancements

This version enforces security for software upgrades.
Password Protection
It is now possible requiring a password to upgrade XT. When a password is set, only the PC
software upgrade application with user interaction can be used. Setting a password will also block
software downgrade to previous versions.

Important

When a password is set for software upgrade, the XT cannot be upgraded by
Scopia® Management, AT Commands, HTTP or using an USB key.
o
When a password is set for software upgrade, software downgrade will fail with
message "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"
