DESCRIPTION
Select this option to have your device use a dynamically assigned IP address from
a router each time.
Warning: If you select Obtain IP Address Automatically you will not
be able to access the ZyXEL Device through the Web Configurator unless
you have a router that assigns an IP address. If you select this by mistake,
use the RESET button to restore the factory default IP address.
Select this option to have your device use a static IP address. When you select this
option, fill in the fields below.
Enter the IP address of your device in dotted decimal notation.
Enter the subnet mask.
Type the IP address of the gateway. The gateway is a router or switch on the same
network segment as the device. The gateway helps forward packets to their
destinations. Leave this field as 0.0.0.0 if you do not know it.
Click Apply to save your changes to the device. The ZyXEL Device will restart
using the new settings and you will need to log in again.
Note: If you have changed the IP address, you will need to use the
new address to log in to the ZyXEL Device.
Click Reset to clear any unsaved changes to this screen.
