This setup is valid only when "COMPONENT" or
"SDI" is selected in the "Setting "INPUT SEL"" menu
(see on page 60).
In addition, the HDTV image and the SDTV image
cannot be printed together on one print sheet.
Moreover, the HDTV image and the SDTV image
cannot be captured and displayed together in the same
memory page.
CAUTION
When a new image is captured after the input signal is
switched, any previous images stored in memory that
have not been printed are overwritten and erased. This
may result in the loss of images.
Capture after confirming whether there is any image that
is not printed.

Press "v" or "V" to select "SD/HD SEL," and press
the "ENTER" button.

Press "v" or "V" to select from among "SD," "HD"
and "AUTO," and press the "ENTER" button.
SD: Uses the SDTV signal as the input video
signal.
HD : Uses the HDTV signal as the input video
signal.
AUTO : Switches this instrument according to the
result of automatic detection of the input video
signal.
Setting "SD FORMAT"
This item is used to select the format of the SDTV signal
when it is used as the input video signal to this
instrument.

Press "v" or "V" to select "SD FORMAT," and
press the "ENTER" button.

Press "v" or "V" to select either "RGB" or
"YCbCr," and press the "ENTER" button.
RGB : The RGB component video signals
YCbCr : The color-difference video signals
Setting "SD SYNC(IN)"
This item is used to select the sync signal when the
SDTV signal is used as the input video signal to this
instrument.

Press "v" or "V" to select "SD SYNC(IN)," and
press the "ENTER" button.

Press "v" or "V" to select either "G-ON" or
"EXT," and press the "ENTER" button.
G-ON : The sync-on-green type video signals
EXT : The sync separation type video signals
Setting "HUE"
This item is used to adjust the hue of the printed picture
when a composite video or S-Video signal is used as the
input video signal to this instrument.
Setting a positive value makes the image purplish and
setting a negative value makes it greenish.
Setup will not be possible, if "COMPONENT" is
selected in "Setting "INPUT SEL"" on page 60.

and press the "ENTER" button.
Setting "COLOR"
This item is used to adjust the color depth of the printed
picture.
Setting a positive value makes the image colors dense
and setting a negative value makes them less dense.
Setting "OFF" reproduces the images in black and
white.

"ENTER" button.

Press "v" or "V" to select between "-13" and "14"
or "OFF," and press the "ENTER" button.
Setting "GAIN"
This item is used to adjust the contrast of the printed
picture.
Setting a positive value enhances the contrast and setting
a negative value attenuates it.

and press the "ENTER" button.
Setting "OFFSET"
This item is used to adjust the brightness of the printed
image. Setting a positive value makes the image brighter
and setting a negative value makes it darker.
