NOTE: Traffic surveillance is not available during the system test. Use caution when
performing a system test during flight.
The traffic system provides a system test mode to ensure the system is operating normally.
The test takes ten seconds to complete. When the system test is initiated, a test pattern of
traffic symbols appears on the 'Traffic' Page.
When the system test is complete, the traffic system enters Standby Mode. Standby mode
will be indicated white in the center of the 'Traffic' Page. Otherwise, the status of the traffic
system will be indicated in the Traffic Source field on the 'Traffic' Page.
Manually initiating system test for the configured traffic source:
1) From the 'Traffic' Page, open the page menu and select Traffic Options.
2) Select the Test Button. A system test is initiated and 'TEST' is displayed next to the Traffic
Source on the 'Traffic' Page.
