Obstacles and Wire
The 'HSI Map' Page can display obstacle and wire data. The color of the obstacles shown
depend on the aircraft altitude. For more information, see the Hazard Avoidance Section.
Enabling/disabling the display of obstacles and wires on the 'HSI Map' Page:
1) From the 'HSI Map' Page, open the menu and select HSI Map Options > Map
Options.
2) Select the OBST/Wire Button to enable/disable the display of obstacles and wires.
Terrain
The 'HSI Map' Page can display relative terrain data. Terrain overlay colors on the navigation
map depend on the aircraft altitude. For more information on terrain, see the Hazard Avoidance
Section.
Enabling/disabling the display of relative terrain:
1) From the 'HSI Map' Page, open the menu and select Options > Map Options.
2) Select the Terrain Button to enable/disable the display of relative terrain on the map.
TFRs
Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) may be displayed on the 'HSI Map' Page. More
information on TFRs is provided in the Hazard Avoidance Section.
Enabling/disabling the display of TFRs:
1) From the 'HSI Map' Page, open the menu and select Options > Map Options.
2) Select the TFR Button to enable/disable the display of TFRs on the map.
Topographical data (TOPO)
The 'HSI Map' Page can display topographical data by showing various shades of colors
representing land elevation, similar to aviation sectional charts. Topographical data can be
displayed or removed as described in the following procedures.
Enabling/disabling the display of topographical data:
1) From the 'HSI Map' Page, open the menu and select Options > Map Options.
2) Select the Topo Button to enable/disable the display of topographical data on the map.
