Hazard Avoidance
Traffic Alerts - Standby ADI, and Standby MFD
A Traffic Alert (TA) may be issued anytime there is an increase in the number of traffic
advisories. Traffic advisory parameters and alerts depend on the traffic source configuration
in use.
When an alert is issued, a 'TRAFFIC' annunciation will appear on the 'Traffic' Page, or as
a pop-up alert, and a 'TFC' annunciation will be displayed on every page. To acknowledge a
traffic pop-up alert:
» Touch the Close Button (returns to the currently viewed page), or
» Touch the Go to Traffic Button (accesses the 'Traffic' Page).

Traffic Advisory information is provided on the 'Traffic' Page. See the following table for a
list of the different kinds of information and advisories which can be shown.

Traffic Pop-up Alert on the 'Map' Page
A Traffic Advisory is displayed within the selected range.
System cannot determine bearing of Traffic Advisory.
Annunciation indicates distance in nm, altitude separation in hundreds
of feet, and altitude trend arrow (climbing/descending).
