The AutoZoom function automatically changes the map range when a transition between air
and ground state occurs.
Enabling/disabling AutoZoom for the 'HSI Map' Page:
1) From the 'HSI Map' Page, open the menu and select Options > Map Options.
2) Select the AutoZoom Button to enable/disable the function.

Additionally, AutoZoom adjusts the range on the 'Map' Page when waypoint sequencing
occurs for the active flight plan (does not apply to the 'HSI' Map). Control of the ranges at
which the auto zoom occurs is done by setting the minimum and maximum 'look forward'
times. These settings determine the minimum and maximum range to display based upon the
aircraft' s ground speed.
Enabling/disabling AutoZoom on the 'Map' Page:
1) From the 'Map' Page, open the menu and select Map Options > Map Options.
2) Select the AutoZoom Button to enable/disable the function.
Setting the minimum and maximum range for AutoZoom:
1) From the 'Map' Page, open the menu and select Map Options > Map Options.
2) Select the AutoZoom Min Button. Then, select the button for the desired minimum
range setting.
3) Select the AutoZoom Max Button. Then, select the button for the desired maximum
range setting.
Cities
Cities are always displayed on the 'HSI Map' Page depending on map range and detail level.
Various kinds of cities may be enabled or disabled for display on the 'Map' Page, and the range
setting for each kind may be adjusted.
Adjusting the display of cities on the 'Map' Page:
1) From the 'Map' Page, open the menu and select Map Options > Land Options.
2) Select the Cities Button to enable/disable the display of cities.
3) Select the City Options Button.
4) Select the button for each desired city type to enable/disable.
5) Select the corresponding Range Button for each desired city type. Then, select the desired
range setting.
