LOADING A DISK PACK
1.
While holding disk pack firmly by top handle, turn
locking knob on bottom cover and remove cover.
2.
With disk drive stopped and cover open, place disk
pack (still in cover) on spindle and lower disk pack
until it comes to rest.
3.
Rotate cover clockwise until firm resistance is met,
and then lift cover off. Be careful not to hit cover
against disk pack.
4.
Reassemble empty container sections (top and
bottom covers) and store them.
5.
Close cover on 2311 and move start/stop switch to
START. The ready light turns on when 2311 is
ready for use.
6.
Verify that enable/disable switch is set to ENABLE.
This makes 2311 available to the system.
