CLEARING A NOT READY CONDITION
Verify that tape tension lever is not actuated. When
actuated, tape tension lever is up and forward from
its normal position.
Verify that tape pressure lever is down and holding
tape against feed wheel.

Verify that no tape jams have occurred.
Verify that tape is present in unit and that tape
presence contact is not actuated.
