that is:

Cycle-up
sequence has
been
complete
d.

No write select error

The Stop
Key,
whe
n
presse

,
rem oves power from the
drive mot

starts a
cy
cle
down (stop) sequence. The
cycle down sequence consists of:

Unloading the heads.
A delay of approximately 60 seconds whil
e
th
e
disk
is coming to a stop
.

The cartridge unlock light turning on
,
indicating
that the cartridge can be removed
.
The Cartridge Unlocked Light
turns on when the access
release/lock mechanism is unlocked. When this light is
on, the cartridge may be removed.
REMOVING A DISK CARTRIDGE
1 .
Press
STOP.
2.
After cartridge unlock light turns on, open hinged
cover of
1810.
3.
Pull down on release/lock handle (A).
4.
Using handle provided in cartridge
(B),
pull it from
disk drive. (An interlock prevents removal of
cartridge unless system power is on and disk has
stopped rotating.)
5.
Close cartridge door by pressing down on it. This
step is important because it creates a positive dust
seal and immobilizes disk in cartridge.
