Connecting the AC Adapter

WARNING
Connect the AC Adapter by following the procedure below.
For the TM-J7700, you can connect an AC adapter to the underside of the printer. Follow the instructions to
install it properly. (See

Confirm that the power switch is off.

Firmly insert the DC connector of the AC adapter into the DC-in ("24V") connector of
the printer.

Firmly insert the AC cable connector into the AC port of the AC adapter.

Firmly insert the plug into a grounded wall outlet.

Set the AC adapter so that its label side is facing down.

 Be sure to use the specified AC adapter [PS-180 (model: M159E)]. Connection to an
improper power source may lead to equipment damage, fire, or electric shock.
 Should a fault ever occur, immediately turn off the power to the printer and unplug the AC
cable from the socket.
Use the AC cable provided with this printer.
