18. Insert the steam outlet
Place the steam outlet onto the lid from
above and press down fi rmly.
19. Insert condensation water tank
Fold up the carrying handle. Hold the
tank on the sides at the top and insert at
the rear of the appliance.
20. Connect the supplied mains cable to
the appliance fi rst, then connect it to the
socket.
Warning!
Use only the supplied mains cable.
On the control panel, buttons B and G
and all LEDs briefl y light up once and a fi ve-
level audible signal sounds. Button B then
fl ashes. The appliance is in standby mode
and is ready for operation.

Steam pressure function

Steam pressure function
The multi cooker is additionally equipped
with a steam pressure function. With the
steam pressure function, the food cooks
under pressure, i.e. at temperatures above
100°C. This signifi cantly reduces the
cooking time. In addition, this represents
a signifi cant energy saving. Aroma, taste
and vitamins are largely preserved with the
short cooking time under steam.
There are 8 pre-confi gured preparation
programmes to choose from, which can
be used with the steam pressure function.

Low steam pressure
Use low steam pressure for the preparation
of delicate food like vegetables, fi sh or
fruit to cook the food particularly gently.
Pressure that is too high is automatically
controlled via the steam outlet.
High steam pressure
Use high steam pressure for the preparation
of all other food to achieve optimum results.
Pressure that is too high is automatically
controlled via the steam outlet.
Steam pressure function activated
To be able to select preparation pro-
grammes with steam pressure function, fi rst
of all the pressure locking handle must be
closed (N). For this purpose, rotate the
pressure locking handle as far as possible
in a clockwise direction.
