Updating Firmware
Firmware for the DTP2 R 212 can be updated using PCS or the internal webpage. Updates
to the DTP2 R 212 firmware are made available periodically via the

Downloading DTP2 R 212 Firmware
To download the latest version of firmware for the DTP2 R 212, follow these instructions:

Power on a PC that is connected to the same network as the switcher.
Go to www.extron.com, and mouse over the Download tab (see figure 29,

Click the letter D from the alphabetic navigation bar (see figure 30,

Enter the required user information and click Download. An executable (.exe) file is
downloaded to the PC. Run this program to place the firmware on the PC for future
