Answering system
Remote access
A two-dgt securty code s requred to access the system remotely from any touch
tone telephone that does not share the same lne wth your answerng system.
The factory preset code s 19; see page 35 to change t.
1.
Dal your telephone number from any touch tone telephone.
2.
When the system answers and announces the greetng, enter the two-dgt
securty code. If you have new messages, the system wll play them (new
messages first) automatically.
3.
You may also enter one of the followng remote commands.

Hang up or press 8 to end the call.

Function
Play all messages.
Play only new messages.
Delete the current message (durng playback).
Delete all old messages.
Repeat the current message (durng playback).
Stop.
Hear a lst of remote commands.
Skp to the next message (durng playback).
Record a new announcement.
End the call.
Turn the answerng system on or off.

than four seconds
after each
remote command
completed,
the system
wll announce
the help menu
optons. If no
remote command
s entered wthn
15 seconds, the
remote access
call wll be
automatcally
dsconnected.

When the
answerng system
s turned off,
the telephone
wll answer after
10 rngs, and
announce "Please
enter your remote
access code."
