To display logs for a hard disk, click the DISK LOG
button (see also "4-1-3 Viewing Logs" on page 4-9).
To display the Maintenance Menu
To display the Maintenance Menu for single hard
disks, click the Maintenance Menu button (see also
"4-1-2 RAID Maintenance Menu" on page 4-7).

Description
Access privileges to single hard disk, displayed only for single hard disk drive.
The type of access privileges granted to the Digital Media Workstation is shown within
parentheses. There are the following types.
• Global (Full): Full read and write privileges
• Local (Full): Full read and write privileges
• Local (None): No read or write privileges (cannot access)
ID Information
Description
Hard disk vender ID
Hard disk product ID
Hard disk product revision ID
Hard disk serial number
Hard disk block size
Hard disk capacity
Bus Information
Description
The ID of the Fibre Channel Interface Board connected to the PC
The ID of the enclosure containing the hard disk
The slot number of the hard disk within the enclosure
SCSI Information
Description
SCSI standard version
Whether the TERMINATE I/O PROCESS message is supported
Whether relative block addressing is supported
Whether 32-bit wide data transfers are supported
Whether 16-bit wide data transfers are supported
Whether synchronous data transfer is supported
Whether linked commands are supported
Whether tagged command queuing is supported
Whether the RESET condition is responded to with the soft RESET alternative.
To change RAID drive access privileges
For single hard disks, access privileges can be changed
only for disks with Full (read and write) privileges.
To change access privileges, click the [Change access
privileges] button to display the Change Access
Privileges dialog, then select Global or Local and click
the OK button.
Note
When using a Fibre Channel Storage Unit in a shared
environment, power off all Digital Media Workstations
except the one you are working on before performing
this operation.
