5. Configure IP address

The WGSD-1022 is shipped with Fixed IP address 192.168.1.254 by

default. To check the current IP address or modify a new IP address for

the Switch, please use the procedures as follow:

Show the current IP address

1. On "Console#" prompt, enter "show ip interface".

2. The screen displays the current IP address, netmask and gateway. As

show in Figure 5-1.

Configure IP address

3. On "Console#" prompt, type "configure" to enter the configuration

mode.

4. On "Console(config)#" prompt, enter the following command and

press <Enter>. As show in Figure 5-2.

console (config)# interface vlan 1

console (config-if)# ip address 192.168.1.100 255.255.255.0
