Watching the console remotely

Any root user can display the console via a remote login to the
teststation, so it is possible to have many different processes watching
the console at the same time. This is sometimes referred to as "spy
mode". Only one window can actually control the console; see
"Controlling the console remotely" on page 36 for more information.
To monitor the console from a system other than the teststation,
complete the following steps:
Step 1. Remotely log in to the teststation as sppuser (default password: spp user)
with the following command:
rlogin
hostname
sppuser
login:
Password:
Step 2. Access the system console with the following command:
/spp/scripts/sppconsole
At this point you are in "spy mode", meaning that you can only monitor
what is going on at the system console. If you try to enter a command the
following message is displayed:
[read-only -- use '^Ecf' to attach, '^Ec?' for help]

Display a list of other console users

Step 1. Display a list of other users connected to the console with the following
command:
Ecw
CTRL-
Step 2. Exit the session with the following command:
Ec.
CTRL-
The period is part of the command.
