Note: With the power set at 0%, the appliance can be used as an egg timer. (See 'Egg
timer' section for details).
The grill function
The grilling process uses radiation heat to process the food. This programme is suitable for
cooking 'au gratin' or for grilling thin pieces of meat.
Select the desired grilling time. The grilling time can be pre-set to a maximum of 95 minutes.
The power setting of the grill function cannot be changed. As the meat needs to be turned
after one side is sufficiently browned, and taken out once it is done on both sides, this
process should be closely monitored.
Example: programming the grill function for 30 minutes.
1. Press
. The display shows ENTER COOK TIME GRILL.
2. Turn
, until the display shows 30:00.
3. Press
. The display shows COOK GRILL.
The hot-air function
With this function, hot air circulates inside the oven, achieving an
even cooking and browning process. Ten different temperature
settings can be selected by pressing the
number of times. The cooking time is shown in the display in
hours and minutes (e.g. 2h 30), and can be pre-set to a maximum
of 9 hours and 30 minutes.
If required, the appliance may be pre-heated. Select the desired
temperature level and press 'Start'. Once the pre-set temperature
level is reached, a beep is heard, the time display is suspended
and the display shows PREH.
Example: the appliance is to be pre-heated to 170°C,
followed by a cooking time of 30 minutes.
1. Press
4 times. The display shows CONV and 170.
2. Press
down from 30:00. Once the pre-set temperature level is reached, the timer stops, a
beep is heard, and the symbol PREH remains on the display.
3. Open the door, place the food inside the oven compartment and close the door again.
4. Turn
, until both h 40 and ENTER COOK TIME CONV appear on the display.
5. Press
. The symbol PREH blinks in the display and the timer starts counting
. The display shows COOK CONV.
