CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

MEASURING THE THROTTLE
POSITION SENSOR OUTPUT
VOLTAGE
Measure:
• Throttle position sensor output volt-
age
Out of specification → Check the con-
trol unit.

Measuring steps
(1) Connect the test harness (3-pin) as
shown.
Test harness (3-pin)
(2) Connect the battery leads to a 12-V
P
battery.
(3) Turn the engine switch to the on posi-
tion.
(4) Measure the throttle position sensor
output voltage.
NOTE:
Make sure the throttle position sensor out-
put voltage is within specification when the
throttle is fully closed and fully opened.
