Resetting the Device

You can reset the entire Avaya P460 Device, or one or more of its
individual modules.

Clearing the CAM

The device's Content Address Memory (CAM) contains the MAC
addresses of hosts that have connected to the device. The CAM can be
used to limit connection to the device to those hosts already listed in the
CAM.
To clear the CAM:

Action > Reset Device
2. Click . The device resets.

1. Click the label of the supervisor module you want to reset.
To select both supervisor modules, press CTRL while clicking

the second supervisor module label.

Actions > Reset Supervisor(s)
opens.
3. Click . The selected module resets.

Actions > Clear CAM
2. Click Yes . The CAM is cleared.
