INSTALL DRAIN

S Apply a ring of plumbers putty
around the underside of the
strainer.
S Set the gasket between the
drain ell and the bottom of the
bath.
S Turn the strainer into the drain
ell.
S Make sure the drain ell tube is
facing outward from the front
of the bath. Tighten the drain
ell securely by inserting the
pliers handles into the top of
the strainer as shown. The
handles will catch on the
bosses inside the strainer as
the strainer is turned into the
drain ell.
S Remove any excess sealant.
S Insert the tailpiece into the trap
inlet. The tailpiece may need
to be cut for proper fit. 1" to 2"
of the tailpiece should fit inside
the trap.
S Slip the flange, coupling nut,
and O-ring over the tailpiece.
S Assemble the tee to the
tailpiece using the O-ring and
coupling nut.
S Assembly drain ell to tee using
the O-ring and coupling nut.
S Assemble the overflow ell to
the tee using the O-ring and
coupling nut.
