REM OVING THE HANDLEBARS
1. Stand the m otorcycle on a level surface.
WARNING
WARNING
Securely support the motorcycle so that
there is no danger of it falling over.
2. Rem ove:
• handlebar grip
NOTE:
Blow com pressed air betw een the left
handlebar and the handlebar grip, and
gradually push the grip off the handle-
bar.
3. Rem ove:
• throttle cable housing 1
• throttle grip 2
NOTE:
Pull back the rubber cover 3 w hen
rem oving the throttle cable housing.

CHECKING THE HANDLEBARS

1. Check:
• left handlebar
• right handlebar
Bends/cracks/dam age → Replace.

Do not attempt to straighten bent han-
dlebars as
w eaken them.
