2.Fuel sender
• Disconnect the fuel sender coupler from
the w ire harness.
• Drain the fuel from the fuel tank and
rem ove the fuel sender from the fuel
tank.
• Check the fuel sender for continuity.
Tester positive probe → green 1
Tester negative probe → black 2
• Is the fuel sender OK?
YES
3.Voltage
Connect the pocket tester (DC 20V) to
the m eter assem bly coupler (w ire har-
ness side) as show n.
Tester positive probe → brow n 1
Tester negative probe → green/ red 2
NO
Replace the fuel
sender.
SIGNALING SYSTEM
• Set the m ain sw itch to " ON" .
• M easure the voltage (12V).
• Is the voltage w ithin specification?
This circuit is OK.
