INSTALLING THE FRONT WHEEL

1. Lubricate:
• w heel axle
• oil seal lips
Recommended lubricant
Lithium soap base grease
2. Install:
• brake discs
NOTE:
• Apply LOCTITE
the brake disc bolts.
• Tighten the brake disc bolts in stages
and in a crisscross pattern.
3. Tighten:
• w heel axle 1
• w heel axle pinch bolt 2
CAUTION:
ACHTUNG:
Before tightening the w heel axle nut,
push dow n hard on the handlebars sev-
eral times and check if the front fork
rebounds smoothly.
4. Install:
• brake calipers

WARNING
M ake sure that the brake hose is routed
properly.

NOTE:
• After replacing the tire, w heel or both,
the front w heel static balance should
be adjusted.
• Adjust the front w heel static balance
w ith the brake discs installed.
