This section contains the basic step-by-step troubleshooting procedure for QoS in order to
isolate the issue for further troubleshooting.
QoS troubleshooting
Enable QoS
The show qos chassis system command shows the global auto-qos status and the status
of global QoS, whether enabled or disabled.
Auto QoS status
Auto QoS functions as a tool to apply the default QoS configurations for an interface. Auto QoS
is applicable only for ethernet and bundles. For bundles auto-qos will be applied on egress
direction and for ethernet interfaces it will be applied on the ingress direction. To know whether
auto-qos is enabled for an interface show qos chassis <ethernet/bundle>
<ethernet slot/bundle name>
