9. Testing
The interoperability testing focused on verifying interoperability between the Avaya 3600 series
Wireless IP telephones and the Indyme Retail Solution as documented in Figure 1.
9.1. General Test Approach
The approach focused on ensuring that when the button the Radius Call Box and Magellus Call
Assistance Center was pressed that appropriate text messages were sent to all NetLink OAI
Gateway administered wireless sets. Multiple messages and multiple wireless sets were
successfully used.
9.2. Test Results
All tests passed successfully. All products operated as expected.

10.1. Avaya 3600 Wireless IP Telephone Troubleshooting
3620 Display Message
No Net Found
Trying aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
Authentication Error
No AVPP Response

Explanation
The Avaya 3600 Wireless
IP telephone cannot
access the Wireless LAN.
This means that the 3600
cannot access Avaya
Communication Manager.
The IP Address indicated
by aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd is the
Avaya Communication
Manager IP Address on
the LAN.
The Passkey does not
match the one
administered on the
Avaya AP-8 Access Point.
The Wireless telephone
cannot find the AVPP.

Actions
Verify that the SSID on the
3600 matches the administered
SSID on the Avaya AP-8
Access Point.
Check that the appropriate IP
routes are administered in the
Avaya AP-8 Access Point.
Verify that the Passkey has been
entered correctly.
Verify the IP Address
administered on the telephone
matches the AVPP IP Address.
When this happens on a
3641/3645 telephone, verify
that the firmware is correct on
the AVPP (See Section 2).
