Select the tray containing paper, then press
[OK].

Press Start on the control panel.
A chart applied the Screen 1 (Dot190 Recom-
mended) is Output, and auto adjustment is per-
formed.
When the adjustment is completed, you return
to the [Maximum Density Auto Adjustment (RU)]
screen.
Adjustment processing cannot be stopped until
all charts are printed out.

When the adjustment is completed, you auto-
matically return to the [Maximum Density Auto
Adjustment (RU)] screen. Check the adjustment
result.
The auto adjustment result is displayed in [Cur-
rent Data].

Press [Return] to return to the [Process Adjustment Menu] screen.
Note that the tray remains set to the paper profile that has been used to register the target density.
Tips
-
If [Maximum Density Auto Adjustment (RU)] is carried out, the paper profile of the tray that has been
used for auto adjustment is switched to the paper profile that has been used to register the target den-
sity , and it is not returned to the paper profile that has been used before adjustment. After the adjust-
ment is completed, return to the original paper profile. After completing this adjustment, you can ask
your service representative to configure a setting so that the paper profile automatically returns to that
used before adjustment. For more information, contact your service representative.
