Description
Resets all diagnostic functions in-
cluding graphs and histograms.
Resets the positioner to the state as
upon delivery. Actuator and valve-
specific settings remain unchanged.
Configuration settings of the
diagnostics are reset.
All parameters will be reset to their
defaults adjusted upon delivery.
The positioner is shut down and re-
started.
All parameters for the start-up set-
tings (see section 8.2) are reset.
The positioner needs to be re-ini-
tialized afterwards.
Sample application
Diagnosis analyses of operating
hours in the past are no longer
relevant.
The attachment situation has
changed. The valve has been
repaired or modified. The
positioner diagnosis data are no
longer relevant. The positioner must
be re-initialized.
Positioner is mounted on another
actuator/valve.
Putting the valve back into
operation after a malfunction
Changes to the start-up settings are
necessary.
