Signal descriptions

page 5-26, "Possible parameter assignments".
ST Start signal
MAGA Number of the magazine from where the empty location is searched for.
(1<= MAGA <= 16 for SINUMERIK 880/880 GA2).
MAGE Number of last magazine where the empty location is searched for.
(MAGA <= MAGE <=16 for SINUMERIK 880/880 GA2).
WZGR Tool size
Specification of the tool size in the low byte of the parameter by means of the
number of half locations required to the left and right of the location. The high byte of
the parameter is still unassigned at present; it is reserved, however, for specific
extensions (see assignment of DB 151 magazine table).
Permissible tool sizes = 1.1 to 7.7 in all combinations –
Specified in half locations.
SURI Search definition
In this parameter the direction in which the magazine(s) are searched is to be
specified. The search directions forwards, backwards and symmetrically are available.
If the search direction is not defined ("SURI" = ' '), the search direction preset in
machine data bit 10 of the current magazine is defined.
MD bit 10 = 1: Search direction = symmetrical
= 0: Search direction = forwards
