An additional interface was implemented to enable operation of the tape in conjunction with
the data distributor and the operator panel:
Interface DB 144

DW 6
Ready signals
The operator panel FBs working with the data distributor indicate that they are available by
setting bits 0 to 7 (positive or negative acknowledgement to data distributor, DB 146/D1.1 and
D1.2). The data distributor checks DR 6 for the value 255.
At present, only three FBs (FB 190, FB 191 and FB 192) work with the data distributor in this
manner. Thus one of these FBs (FB 192) has to set six bits while the other two FBs (FB 190,
FB 191) set one bit each. These three function blocks set ready flags in the initial setting
(F 2.1).
On initial setting (F 2.1), DB 144 DR 6 in FB 161 is set to zero. If necessary, the function
blocks of the operator panel then restore their initial settings!
FB 191 must also be called conditionally in the initial setting (F2.1) to be
able to restore its initial setting and set bit D 6.1 in DB 144.
