9.2.20 FB 181 W-SN-BEL
Additional cutting edges (from loading display)
Description
This function block generates an additional cutting edge for the selected tool. An additional
cutting edge can only be generated if the tool has only one offset per cutting edge and if the
reference list for the current tool is not full.
If these conditions are met, an unassigned D number is determined via the TO memory
management, the setup data of the tool updated, the D number in the TO memory removed
and then provided for indirect addressing in the R parameter R999. New display parameters
are then assigned to the display and the function is terminated.
In the case of an error, if generating of another cutting edge is not permissible or if no
unassigned D number is available, a message appears on the NC screen and the block
function is terminated.
