Any power tool that cannot be con-
trolled with the switch is dangerous
and must be repaired.

Disconnect the plug from the
power source before making any
adjustments, changing accesso-
ries, or storing power tools. Such
preventive safety measures reduce
the risk of starting the power tool ac-
cidentally.

reach of children and do not allow

Specific Safety Warnings
1.
Always wear ANSI-approved
safety impact goggles when
using the Bandsaw.

WARNING! Keep hands and
fingers away from the cutting
area and Saw Blade.
3.
CAUTION! Cut only
es when the Bandsaw is in its verti-
cal position. NEVER attempt to cut
pipes or other round objects with the
Bandsaw in its vertical position.
4.
Make sure the Bandsaw is located on
a flat, level, sturdy floor surface ca-
pable of supporting the weight of the
Bandsaw and workpieces. Always
"chock" the Wheels to prevent the
Bandsaw from accidently moving.
5.
Before using the Bandsaw, check that
the Saw Blade is properly mounted
and is not cracked or bent.
6.
Make sure the Table of the Bandsaw
and surrounding area are clear with
the exception of the workpiece to be
cut.
7.
Never stand on the Bandsaw. Seri-
ous injury could result if the Bandsaw
is tipped or if the rotating Saw Blade
is accidently contacted.
