Raise or lower the Blade Guide
Assembly by loosening the Blade
Guide Adjustment Screw (67) and
positioning the Blade Guide Bear-
ings (71) as required. Then tighten
the Blade Guide Adjustment Screw
(67). (See Figure G.)

Blade Tension Adjustment:
1.
Turn the Blade Tension Adjusting
Knob (125) clockwise to increase
tension on the Saw Blade (86). Turn
the Blade Tension Adjusting Knob
counterclockwise to decrease tension
on the Saw Blade. Correct tension is
acquired when the Saw Blade is just
tight enough so that no slippage oc-
curs between the Saw Blade and the
Blade Wheels (64, 83).

NOTE: When the Bandsaw is not in
use over long periods of time, release
the tension on the Saw Blade (86).

Raise the Saw Head to its full verti-
cal position, making sure it locks in
position by turning the Support Plate
(31) until it firmly locks into the Body
Frame (126) (first indentation from
