Attach the lower end of the Verti-
cal Cutting Support Plate (98) to the
Body Frame (126) using one Hex
Head Screw (110) and one Washer
(62). (See Figure W.)

Make sure the Power Switch (20) is
down in its "OFF" position. Then
plug the Power Supply Cord (97) into
the nearest 120 volt, grounded, elec-
trical outlet. (See Figure x.)

Turn the Power Switch (20) up to its
"ON" position. (See Figure x.)

Before cutting, turn on the Bandsaw
and check for excessively loose Saw
Blade (86) tension or machine vibra-
tion. If this is found, turn off the Band-
saw and correct the problem before
using.

Set the workpiece on the Vertical Cut-
ting Plate (99), making sure to keep
downward pressure on the workpiece
throughout the cutting process.
12.
When cutting a large workpiece, make
sure its entire length is properly sup-
ported. If necessary, use a roller
stand (not included) with a larger
workpiece.
13.
Allow the Saw Blade (86) to turn up
to full speed before feeding the work-
piece into the Blade.
14.
WArNING!
Always keep hands and
fingers safely away from the cutting
area.
15.
Feed the workpiece into the Saw
Blade (86) gradually. Do not force the
