Chapter 3 Useful Features

Save & Exit
If you move the cursor to Save & Exit, the Save & Exit menu appears.
The options of this menu are described below.
(a) Save Changes and Exit
The SETUP utility closes with all the changes saved in NVRAM (Non-volatile memory). After the SETUP
utility closes, the system automatically reboots.
(b) Discard Changes and Exit
The SETUP utility closes without saving the changes in NVRAM. The setting at startup of SETUP utility is
retained.
After the SETUP utility closes, the system automatically reboots.

(c) Save Changes
The utility closes after the changes are saved in NVRAM.
After closing, the server automatically turns off the power.
(d) Discard Changes
The utility closes without saving the changes in NVRAM. The initial BIOS settings being set when the utility
starts are inherited. After closing, the server automatically turns off the power.
(e) Load Setup Defaults
This option resets all values in the SETUP utility to the default settings.

The factory-set value may differ from the default value depending on your

server model. Reconfigure each item according to your environment by
referring to the list of settings in this section.
The values in the iSCSI Configuration or UEFI Driver Configuration submenus
do not return to the default settings.
