Verify the DC power supply shipping accessories
The Ethernet Routing Switch 8800/8600 chassis ships with no installed power supplies. Install
the first power supply in the leftmost bay. Power supply bays are numbered 1, 2, and 3 from
left to right as viewed from the front of the chassis for the 8006, 8010, and 8010co. Power
supply bays are numbered 1 and 2 from left to right as viewed from the front of the 8003-R
chassis. For instructions to install the power supply, see
page 40.
In addition to the DC power supply and the installation guide, your DC power supply shipment
contains several hardware accessories. Verify that the items in the shipping container match
those on the shipment packing list.
