General
The boiler controller is designed to function as a standalone control unit for intermittent operation on heating
appliances with a premix (modulating) burner and a pneumatic air-gas system.

IRCULATOR START EXERCISE EVERY
To protect the circulator from getting stuck at a certain position it is forced to run for 10 seconds every 24 hours.
This is done only for the boiler loop circulator at the start-up of the board.

ROST PROTECTION
The Frost protection function protects the boiler and boiler loop from freezing.
The T_Supply, T_Supply_2 and T_Return sensors are checked for generating a Frost protection demand.
•
When any of the sensors drop below FP_Start_Circulator the boiler loop circulator is switched ON for CH.
•
When any of the sensors drop below FP_Start_Burn the boiler is fired.
•
When all of the sensors measure above FP_Stop the Frost protection demand is ended.
When the demand for Frost protection is ended the circulators will post-circulate for CH_Post_Circulator_Period.

LUE TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
The flue temperature protection function protects against the flue gas reaching a too high temperature.
•
When the T_Flue or T_Flue_2 sensor measures above the Max_Flue_Gas_Temp, the control generates a
Flue_Gas_Error.
•
When the Flue Switch closes, the control generates a Flue_Gas_Error.
When the control is in a Flue_Gas_Error the fan will run at the minimum fan speed.
Boiler power limitation
All boilers have a flue gas sensor. The control will limit the boiler power when the flue gas temperature reaches
the set Max_Flue_Gas_Temp. The maximum boiler power is linearly limited when the flue gas temperature is
within Max_Flue_Gas_Temp minus 9 ºF (5 ºC) and Max_Flue_Gas_Temp.
