Notes
Many FM stations transmit traffic announce-
ments (TA).
You can switch announcements on and off or
interrupt a current announcement.
Switching Traffic Programme on/off

Option 1: select Radio in the radio display.
The O tick next to Traffic announce‐
ments indicates that traffic announce-
ments are switched on. You will see
the . icon in the status bar.

announcements and press W.
Traffic announcements is switched on
or off, depending on the previous status.

press x.
Once traffic announcements have been
switched on, Audio 20 selects an RDS station.
The Traffic Programme is retrieved from:
the currently selected FM station

an RDS station from the network of the

currently selected FM station
the RDS station with the best reception

quality
When traffic announcements are switched
on, a traffic announcement will interrupt the
audio signal from the currently activated
audio source. If the current station together
with its affiliated stations do not broadcast
traffic announcements, they will not be avail-
able. The TA icon without a border is dis-
played

Telephone conversations and navigation
announcements are not interrupted.
The . icon appears in the status bar in all
audio operating modes.
Interrupting a traffic announcement
X
Briefly press the 8 button during the
traffic announcement.
Audio 20 switches back to the audio source
that was selected before the announce-
ment. Any subsequent new announce-
ments will continue to interrupt the audio
source.
