While the deck is recording
Press DISPLAY/CHAR (or DISPLAY) repeatedly to
change the display.
Each press of the button changes the display as follows:
Track number and recorded time of the
current track (default display)
Level of the input signal
Sampling frequency indication
"FS -- kHz" appears while the analog signal is input.

You can check the remaining recordable time on the MD
Press TIME. Each press of the button changes the display as
follows:

The Peak Hold Function freezes the peak level meters at the
highest level reached by the input signal
1 While the deck is stopped or playing, press MENU/NO twice.
"Setup Menu" appears in the display.
2 Turn AMS until "P.Hold Off" (factory setting) appears, then
press AMS or YES.
3 Turn AMS to select "P.Hold On," then press AMS or YES.
4 Press MENU/NO.
To turn off the Peak Hold Function, select "P.Hold Off" in step 3
above.

You can use the remote to turn the Peak Hold Function on or
off Z
Press P.HOLD to display "P.Hold On" or "P.Hold Off."
While the deck is playing
Press DISPLAY/CHAR (or DISPLAY) repeatedly to
change the display.
Each press of the button changes the display as follows:
Track number and elapsed time of the
current track (default display)
The contents of a programme (only when
"PROGRAM" lights up)
Disc name and track name
Level of the output signal
DF (digital filter) display
