Assume that a NEC SL2100 is added to the existing data network. The Network Administrator (or IT
Manager) should provide the following:
• IP Address (for the CPU-C1)
• IP Addresses (for the VoIP daughter board)
• Subnet Mask
• Default Gateway
• A spare switch
First, program the NEC SL2100:
• 192.168.1.200
• 255.255.255.0
• PRG10-12-03: 192.168.1.254
A system reset is required for the IP Address changes to take effect.
Now connect the CPU-C1/VoIPDB Ethernet Port to the switch port, using a standard Cat-5 patch
cable. The NEC SL2100 is now configured on the network and should be accessible by other devices
on the network. Refer to
