To reduce tape noise (DOLBY NR)

The Dolby Noise Reduction system reduces inherent
noise to tape playback.
Set the Dolby NR according to the Dolby NR used
when recording each cassette tape.

2 Select "TAPE RVS. ?".

the tape stops.

Both sides are played back endlessly.
(The tape stops after recording onto both sides.)
3 ONE WAY (

Only one side is played back (recorded), and
then the tape stops.
(The initial setting is "REVERSE".)
4 Set it.
When you are operating the remote, press the
REV.MODE key to change the reverse mode.

÷When playback with the tape reverse mode of "
(REVERSE) is started in tape transport direction "2",
playback ends after having played only the side where it
was started.
÷When recording with the tape reverse mode of "
(REVERSE) is started in tape transport direction "2",
recording ends after having recorded only the side where
it was started.
÷When recording with the tape reverse mode of "
(ENDLESS) is started in tape transport direction "2",
recording ends after having recorded only the side where
it was started.
A tip for use of the tape counter
The tape counter is set to "0000" when a cassette tape is
loaded. By writing down the counter reading in case you
want to interrupt recording (playback) in the middle of
the tape, the memo will be helpful as a reference for lo-
cating the same position when continuing the recording
(playback) the next time. The tape counter figure decre-
ments during recording or playback of the back side (while
the 2 tape transport indicator is lit).
To reset the tape counter to "0000", eject the cassette
tape temporarily. This will reset the counter.
