The following sections contain more information on the NI DAQCard-6715.
Features (NI DAQCard-6715)
The NI DAQCard-6715 is a Plug-and-Play, analog output (AO), digital I/O (DIO), and timing
I/O (TIO) device for PCMCIA bus computers. The NI DAQCard-6715 features:
eight AO channels with 12-bit resolution
eight lines of TTL-compatible DIO
two 24-bit counter/timers for TIO
a 68-pin AO I/O connector
Because the NI DAQCard-6715 have no DIP switches, jumpers, or potentiometers, they are
easily software-configured and calibrated.

The NI DAQCard-6715 has eight channels of voltage output at the I/O connector. The reference
for the AO circuitry is software-selectable per channel. The reference can be either internal or
external, but the range is always bipolar. This means that you can generate signals up to ±10 V
with internal reference selected or ±EXT REF voltage with external reference selected.
