SECTION 7: POWER TRAIN
7. Loosen the deck belt tension by disengaging the over-
center latch system.
8. Remove the deck drive belt from the belt drive clutch.
See clutch removal on page 54
9. Loosen the pump drive belt by disconnecting the belt
tension spring. See trans-axle removal on page XX.

10. Disconnect the wiring pig-tail from the belt drive
clutch.
NOTE: Remove the spark plug coil wires from both
spark plugs to prevent accidental turn over of
engine.
11. Loosen and remove the belt drive clutch. See clutch
removal on page 54.

12. Remove the pump drive belt from the pump drive
pulley.
13. Remove the pump drive pulley and engine key shaft.
