SECTION 1: OPERATOR CONTROLS

DECK LIFT REMOVAL

1. Block wheels for safety and place blocks under mower
deck.
2. Remove deck height stop and lower deck onto blocks.
NOTE: Ensure that deck chains have slack when the
lift arm is fully lowered.

3. Loosen and remove bolt from deck chain on the deck
lift pivot.
4. Repeat step 3 for the other three deck chain
assemblies.
NOTE: The front left deck chain is attached to the lift
adjusting yoke.

5. Remove e-ring clip from deck height pawl pin and
remove pin.
6. Remove deck height pawl.
