Notes:
• The minimum distance from the flange face to the target is limited by Near Range
(2.2.3.5.1.).
• We recommend adjusting Auto False Echo Suppression (2.2.4.2.) with an empty
or almost empty vessel.
The application is to obtain a level measurement proportional to vessel volume in a
chemical vessel.
Low Calibration Point is the bottom of the tank (3.5 m/11.48 ft from the sensor
reference point).
High Calibration Point is 0.5 m (1.64 ft) from the sensor reference point. The
maximum rate of filling or emptying is about 0.2 m/min.
Select PARABOLIC ENDS in Vessel Shape (2.2.2.2.) then enter values for

Dimension A (2.2.2.4.), and Dimension L (2.2.2.5.)
of level.
In the event of a loss of echo, after 2 minutes the device is to report a user-defined
value of 3.25 m (Fail-safe High condition).
