3 Switching on
• Turn the start key on the instrument panel
clock-wise; the warning lights for oil pres-
sure and alternator will now light up and
the alarm buzzer will sound.
By default, Vetus Deutz engines are not equip-
ped with a pre-heat supply; the pre-heat
switch/lock position on the operator panel
can therefore be ignored.
