15 Burnt oil trace in exhaust line

Possible fault
Oil level too high.
Excessive wear of cylinder /
piston, piston rings.
Faulty turbocharger.
Remedy
Lower level.
Check compression; refurbish
engine.
Check, Repair / Replace .
16 Idle speed >750-800 RPM
Possible fault
Coolant temperature lower than
40 °C.
Wrong indication of tachometer.
Fault on electric -electronic
equipment.
Low battery voltage.
Fault finding table
Remedy
On normal functioning: Run the
engine at a speed of 900 RPM until
the coolant temp is over 40 °C .
Adjust /replace .
Check/repair.
On normal functioning: If the
battery voltage is lower than 13.5
V increase engine speed to 1050
RPM until the voltage is 13.5 Volt .
