Pair operations using PPRC commands when S-VOL is online

Pair split and pair deletion operations can be done using PPRC commands when an S-VOL is
online, but whether you can perform pair creation and pair resync operations depends on the
ONLINSEC parameter.
The following table shows whether pair creation and resync operations are possible using PPRC
commands when an S-VOL is online.

Creating pairs with CESTPAIR and PPRCOPY ESTPAIR

Prerequisite: The S-VOL must be offline.
Run the one of the following commands to the P-VOL:
(For PPRC) CESTPAIR
(For PPRCOPY) PPRCOPY ESTPAIR
