Closed Caption Setup; Owner Information (Role Restricted) - Sony Screen Management System User Manual

A Manufacturer Password is needed to use the "Force
limitless clock setting" option. Only the Manufacturer can
obtain a Manufacturer Password.

Closed Caption Setup

The Closed Caption Setup lets you specify the IP address
of a closed caption decoder located on an external network
of the SMS Server.
To access the CLOSED
CAPTION SETUP pane,
tap Menu, Maintenance,
Closed Caption Setup in
sequence. The CLOSED
CAPTION SETUP pane
appears.
To specify the IP address, tap the IP Address field.
The Enter Address popup window appears.

"dot" Enter
To enter a new IP address, tap Clr to clear the current entry,
and then set the new address by tapping the numbers on the
Keypad. When you tap Enter, the new IP address value is
set. When the input is complete, tap Save Settings.
Note
When entering an IP address in the Enter Address popup
window, be sure to also enter the separator dots (.).

Owner Information (Role Restricted)

The Auditorium Unit can be identified by setting the
"Owner Information" in the Projector.
To access Owner
Information, tap Menu,
tap Maintenance, and
then tap Owner Info.
The Owner Information
screen appears.
The Owner Information
screen contains
information relating to;
the name of the Owner
(Exhibitor or Company),
the Geographical area,
the Auditorium Name
(ID), and the Serial
Number of the Projector.
The Projector Serial
Number is automatically
filled by information returned by the projector.
To enter new values in the available boxes, tap the
appropriate box and the on-screen keyboard appears.
Using the on-screen keyboard enter the information and
the tap ENTER on the on-screen keyboard. The new value
appears in the associated text box. When all changes have
been made, tap Save Settings.
• Auditorium Name - The default value for
Auditorium Name is the MAC value for the
projector subsystem's Network Interface Card. This
value may be changed
appropriate to the Exhibitor's facility.
• Serial Number - The Serial Number value is read
from the projector subsystem. This value is set
during the projector's manufacturing process and
cannot be changed.
1.Changing the Auditorium Name does not effect the
MAC address for the projector subsystem.
